The Oil and Gas Special Interest Group serves to bring together members with an interest in the application of geoscience to the discovery and development of petroleum resources, and all related aspects, including more esoteric applications of technology, data and knowledge gained from petroleum exploration.
The group is being revitalised under new leadership after a period of relative inactivity. Its future direction is being developed with the input of interested GSNZ members, including potential new members. The newsletter, other GSNZ communications, and the annual conference will feature.
Please consider participation in this SIG, and feedback as to what you consider an appropriate agenda and programme. Members who have already indicated interest have been asked to complete a survey, others who wish to influence the direction are asked to contact the Administrator, Nicki Sayers who will put you in touch with the group's convenor.
